Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: What crafty creation are you most proud of?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Anyway, the thing I'm proudest of is a Holly Fairy cross stitch I did on 22 count fabric and made into a Christmas card for my mum. I've still got the card somewhere so when I eventually find it I'll post a picture. I was really pleased with how it turned out and mum loved it.
Today, I just managed 14 rows of the blobby sweater.

That card sounds beautiful!
And that's an excellent number of rows. :)

craft i'm proudest of: I made my own mezuzah recently--it's basically a clear mezuzah case with layers of gem chips in sixteen different colors and the scroll off to the side. it's really lovely to look at, it was delightfully fun to make, and it's on my office door so I get to look at it every day :)

And welcome :)

So glad you're at last able to rediscover your crafting mojo and start making something. The scarf sounds very cosy.
How wonderful to make your mezuzah. I'm a big fan of gemstones, and that's a lovely way to use them, with all the different colours on display. Definitely something to be proud of.

Something I'm pretty proud of making was the tatted wedding veil for a friend (made during 3L and also while I was studying for the bar). Given how badly that marriage ended I'm guessing there are no pictures.)

That sounds amazing! Shame about the lack of pictures though.

hats done!
I've made a ton of things I love. So here's a silly story about the next project:
--mother in law requested a crochet headband. By telling her other son to tell my husband. I really, really hope something wasn't lost along the way.
--found an easy pattern. Showed to husband and his brother. They initially rejected it because *the designer's example photo isn't blue and mom likes blue."
Um, I can make it whatever color? I had planned to make her a set of dishcloths but she has an actual request.
Re: hats done!
A crocheted headband sounds like an excellent idea.
Men *bless them*

My faves are probably Maury, because he used the last scraps of five different beanies, plus I overfilled his body a bit when I made him and now he feels like a fat little egg in my hand, and Little G because the pieces he's made from were so small, I wasn't sure I could make anything with them and I proved myself wrong.
