Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Question of the day! Ones I can think off offhand…

1 Spin on the wheel
1 sock that needs binding off
1 Christmas ornament in progress
1 Cross Stitch of Doom
1 Cross Stitch, Slightly Less Doomy
1 Crewelwork Embroidery kit

I don’t like to have a lot of WIPs. Ideally, I’d have one of each craft on the go, and in a world where I was out and about more*, I’d have one knitting project good for being out and about and potentially a bigger/complex one at home.

*Less so these days, because of the pandemic limiting a lot of movement and let alone actual holiday travels, but also because I work at home so no commute. And IF I’m out and about now, I’m with the Enting and I won’t have time to knit XD

Sounds like a good selection of crafts. Hope the two cross stitches of various doom levels will get done eventually.

I used to take knitting to work to work on at lunch, and also sometimes on the bus. Even knitted on a train once!

There was a time where I always had knitting in my hands! On the bus, at work (during breaks, of course), while socializing…

Both cross stitch kits are HUGE. I really need to get some smaller ones so I can feel like I might actually finish one in this lifetime XD

Knitting is good for that.

I feel you on that. I usually do small designs because the big kits are so daunting! I've done a few larger ones but not for some time, and I have so many! I think I'll resolve to start one in the new year.
