Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I finally finished with all the ends of a blanket I made of granny squares, and I gifted it to my niece. Now I have to get back to my own knitting project, while also sowing another granny square blanket all together.

Well done - dealing with all the ends when you've made squares can be tedious, but I'm sure your niece will be pleased with the end result. Have fun with the knitting project.

Thanks! It is tedious, but my niece was happy she finally got the blanket, and I am glad to have that project out of both my mind and my house!

Tidying up all the ends seems to take ages, but glad you've got it done. Enjoy your own project :)

I was surprised by how fast I got it done, I thought I would take forever as my patience with such things is not the best. I will :)

Well done with finishing the blanket! Perhaps take a break from all the sewing up for a bit and do something else for a change.

Thank you :) I should work on the vest, I don't have much left, but I just feel meh and I am worried it will be to small for me too. But I have promised myself I will finish it, and that won't happen if I don't pick it bac up.

It's always off-putting when you're not sure something will fit, but it might surprise you, and you'll never know until it's done.

Hope it works out. It's so satisfying to wear something you made yourself.
