Check-In Post July 2nd 2021
Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Bad enough that the two sleeves have to be mirror images of each other, but the raglans? One edge of the sleeve has to have the same shaping as the front, the other has to match the raglan shaping for the back, because for some unknown reason, the designer decided the shaping for back and front needed to de different!
The differences aren't huge, but it took me forever to figure out what to do with each edge of each sleeve. I think I figured it out, and I've knitted another full pattern repeat, but this is definitely NOT a sweater I plan on making again.
I was about ready to throw in the towel and do drop shoulders except that I'm not sure whether the yarn I've got would stretch to that.

Also knit 9 rounds on the mitt.
I typed up a few more pages of my Final Fantasy II Walkthrough, in anticipation for the Pixel Remaster release coming on the 29th.
And I got approval from my crafting competition to start a team for the Ravellenic Games, so I made the intro post for that.
I had to take a photo of the graduation blanket's progress for my competition, and while doing so I realized the blanket is now large enough that I can spread out the cast-on edge and see just how wide it is. Uh. It's wide. No wonder it's taking so long to knit it! Well, this is my tallest nephew so he could probably use an extra-large blanket. I intend to get back to work on it tomorrow, after I've finished the mitt.

Yay for progress on the mitt! Good luck with your Ravellenic team!
Everyone needs a snuggly blanket, I'm sure your nephew will appreciate your hard work. How many inches in length is it now?

The blanket is 21" long now so about a third of the way done!

That's big, a mammoth project!
