Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today's Question: No question today.

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

That sounds horrendous!

Oh no, that sounds terrible! I've mostly done raglans, and I can't imagine why on earth the front and back shaping needs to be different. Ugh.

Reasons I don't knit... you're telling me about them riiight now. You have more patience to figure it out than me.

I finished the tumbler cozy for mom, and added two rounds to a previous one I did. Here's an old picture. I used the same yarn for the new one, so you get the idea of what it looks like:

Tumbler Cozy

Also knit 9 rounds on the mitt.

I typed up a few more pages of my Final Fantasy II Walkthrough, in anticipation for the Pixel Remaster release coming on the 29th.

And I got approval from my crafting competition to start a team for the Ravellenic Games, so I made the intro post for that.

I had to take a photo of the graduation blanket's progress for my competition, and while doing so I realized the blanket is now large enough that I can spread out the cast-on edge and see just how wide it is. Uh. It's wide. No wonder it's taking so long to knit it! Well, this is my tallest nephew so he could probably use an extra-large blanket. I intend to get back to work on it tomorrow, after I've finished the mitt.

Yes, I love the colorway for the cozy! It does look like a sunset, doesn't it? I used that as my theme tie-in for Nerdopolis. The theme was basically "What brought you into your fandom?" and I chose the opening title scene of Final Fantasy X, which features the main party sitting silently around a campfire at sunset. The scene has the same colors as my yarn. I'm pleased I have enough yarn left over that I can probably make a coaster for myself with it, because gosh is it pretty.

The blanket is 21" long now so about a third of the way done!

Well, those are really cool, and I can see how they'd work a treat too!
