Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

So did a painting with acrylics and I finally finished the butterfly cross stitch.
Work is slow so I'm playing with the water color pencils some, learning them. Looking forward to have something nice to share.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the watercolour pencils.
It's been damp and less warm here.

How annoying! Can you somehow mark which row you're on so you don't keep going wrong?

You need good light to pick the colours, I imagine. That's the problem I always have when making cards and things. It's important that the colours look right together.

I measured the blanket after I finished the Stormblood expansion's OST. The blanket was at 10". Today I finished the Heavensward OST, so I measured again. 13".
...it feels like it's coming along slow, but to be honest that's probably right. It takes me about 15-20 minutes to do a row, and I'm getting about six rows in an inch, so 18 rows * 15 minutes = 270 minutes total, or 4.5 hours, which is about the length of Heavensward.
I worked on it for maybe another hour after that. I still feel like I'm procrastinating too much from it, but I had problems today with feeling sleepy when I sat down to knit, so didn't have much stamina for long sessions. Still, progress is progress!

Three inches sounds like good progress on an afghan. Knitting anything blanket sized is HARD, and gets harder as it gets heavier.
How many stitches are there to a row?

Today I did the pantry, which finished the kitchen. Threw away some spices, I don't even know how old some was.
