Hello, lovely crafters! Welcome to our daily check-in post, where you can tell everybody all about your most recent progress (or lack thereof). Feel free to also chat with other members and generally enjoy yourself!

Check-in is not compulsory, you decide if and when to take part in these posts.

And for an optional question, what about:
What time of the day do you usually work on your crafty projects?

If you have questions or suggestions about the community, requests for tags, or want to host the daily check-in posts, head over to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment there.

I do somethings craft in the evenings after work, but my favourite time is early in the mornings on my days off - I get up, grab a shower, and settle back on the sofa with a cup of coffee that will inevitably go cold and a crumpled paper bag full of doll parts in my lap.

I might put on a podcast or an audiobook, or I might play one of those YouTube spooky soundscapes videos. I don't usually listen to music while I craft as I'm a subconscious bopper and I've been known to jiggle a project off my lap when I'm really enjoying a song!

Watch out for a bunch of kids in a van with a Great Dane.

I watch a lot of waterfall and ocean but should look for spooky.

Some kids bring a Great Dane to my door, that ridiculous giant lad isn't going to have a chance to meet any ghosts because he'll be too busy getting fussed over and told how ridiculously giant he is!

My tiny one met a great dane once. She didn't know what that thing was, wouldn't look at or respond to him in any way. He was very disappointed.

Oh no! I once thought a St Bernard was running up to me t say hello, I crouched and out my hand out and everything... and he ran straight by me to greet another dog that was walking up behind me. I was legit crushed.

I like a true crime podcast, but they tend to make me a bit jumpy so combining that with something that makes me focus can end up with a bit of startled shrieking on my part!

Nothing more relaxing than a bit of crafting.

I dance in my seat too, which does odd things to my typing as it's often when I'm replying to emails and comments.

I discovered during lockdown that, without an office full of people to keep me civilised, I will bop and jiggle to the sort of extent that puts my work-issued laptop in danger of falling off the sofa. Switched to podcasts early on, to avoid a conversation with the boss about what exactly happened to that brand-new bit of equiptment..

Eep, that would not be good, breaking work equipment!

> I'm a subconscious bopper

mood I’m physically incapable of sitting still! I end up mostly crocheting in my rocking chair so I can hold still by being aggressively in motion.
