Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

No gardening today due to rain, but the weather meant I didn't have to do any watering. I did sort out my packets of seeds though. Somehow some of my perennials had migrated into the box the annuals are in, and the perennials box was all out of order. Now they're all in alphabetical order so I can find what I want.

I was happy today to see a redbud sapling that I thought died over winter start to leaf out!

That's lovely! One year we thought our apple tree had died, but it had been a harsh winter and the buds were just a little late swelling. It's a late-flowering variety anyway, only just starting to come into blom now.

There's a second baby, it is going to debut on Friday. That cousin decided to be surprised about girl/boy, but is also really weird about "appropriate" colors. (eye roll) So I was going to wait. I just didn't think they would be the same week! :D

Good luck with the blankets! The yarn for the first one is gorgeous.
(My favourite aunt was an Eleanor, although everyone called her Nell).

I weeded the main garden bed last night, left the hardening plants outside overnight since it was supposed to only get to 6C and rain, and hey, natural watering from the rain! I’ll need to watch them today, though, to make sure the ones without drainage in their containers don’t get overdone as it’s meant to rain all day.

We have rain here too, which is why I wanted to get all the planting and sowing done by Monday night. I haven't needed to water since. Still hoping to sow a few seeds in pots so I've dug out some old propagators and the rain helped by separating the three lids that were stuck together.
Hope your plants don't get waterlogged!
