Hello, lovely crafters! Welcome to our daily check-in post, where you can tell everybody all about your most recent progress (or lack thereof). Feel free to also chat with other members and generally enjoy yourself!
Check-in is not compulsory, you decide if and when to take part in these posts.
And for the optional questions, I will recycle the ones I used three years ago, and see how the answers have changed!
If you have questions or suggestions about the community, requests for tags, or want to host the daily check-in posts, head over to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment there.

Evenings are nice, to settle in front of something cosy on the telly—currently David Suchet as Hercule Poirot—but on Thursdays, when I am out in the evening, I often sneak an hour or two of knitting in the afternoon.

I usually craft in the evenings while watching TV, but sometimes in the afternoon during summer when I don't have the fire to deal with and I can work in natural light.
Haven't done any crafting yet, but hoping to continue the arm warmers for my neighbour in a bit. I've had crafty adventures though, which took up the whole morning and into the afternoon.
I cycled down to the craft shop that was closing down, only to find it already closed for good. Went on into town to go to a shop I didn't have time to visit last time, then went home. On a whim I called the craft shop when I got in and the people were there, packing up. They still had some of the card I wanted though, so the lady said I could go down and knock on the door and she'd let me in. So I walked down in the drizzle, bought all the rest of the silver glitter card they had (71 sheets) all the blue (19), 5 black, the last of the red mirror card and copper card. Also bought all the brooch backs they had - got 328 for £10! Plus, a load of beads, 6 rolls of clear adhesive film, and a few silver beads. That phone call was well worth making! I got bargains at knock-down prices.

As for time of the day - if I'm off work, usually in the afternoon, but if I manage to sneak in some crafting on a work day, it'll be in the evening.

Today, I worked some more on the new front page for the Christmas quiet book (that won't be done for *this* Christmas, mind you): I did most of the Velcro work, sewn down the floor line and finished the double-layered Christmas tree. Not much, I know, but since I postponed the deadline for *next* Christmas, I can take my time and actually enjoy the work.
I also went to one of the big craft shops today, but it was quite the disappointment: they had more ready-made gifts than actual stuff for crafting, so I left empty-handed.

Sorry the craft shop was disappointing.

But yeah, the book is coming along. Especially as I don't have to hurry; it's definitely more fun that way.

Anyway, the yarn for Baby Blanket #1 arrived on Wednesday and I haven't posted here in a few days, but that's where all my energy is at right now!

As for the optional question, I tend to work on them in the middle of the night, as that's when I am most awake and there are fewer demands on my attention.
