Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No knitting today, but I've sewn up one and a half pairs of arm warmers! That's progress. Just another four and a half pairs to sew up, plus the pair for my neighbour but they're navy blue and will have to be done in daylight.

Knitting is hard. Arm warmers sound easier than mittens. :)

They're very simple, no shaping required, I just use plain rib for a close fit, then sew up the seam leaving a gap for my thumb. Eventually I hope to post some pictures. They're not exciting to look at but they helped for the nine weeks I was without proper heating.

When I've finished the last few pairs I'll get back to the sweaters I was making.

I've started knitting a heart for SM instead of a card. I'm thinking of knitting our initials in - one on each side.

That sounds like a lovely idea, and serves as a timely reminder that I ned to do something for the 14th... Eeep!

I’m about a thousand days late but I added a few rows to my baby blanket during D&D on Sunday.

Also here is the test piece for the Stargate point of origin illusion scarf. Not sure I’m in love with it but it’s done.

Anything Stargate related is cool. :)
If I could knit I'd totally geek out to a charcoal scarf with all the seven symbols done in cream along its length like a football scarf. Or a black one with the word Torchwood done in red. ;)
