Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

It works, I can see it! Also, LOL! Very appropriate.

(I actually have no idea how to add pictures in comments and I can only add them in dreamwidth posts by copy and pasting from LJ posts. Computer dunce here!)

Okay, that I can show you!
At the top of the page under your username you select Settings, then Organise, then Manage Images, then select Upload new images link.
Once you've uploaded the image, there's a little box underneath it that says Thumbnail Embed and has some HTML code. You just copy the code exactly as it is in the box and put it in your post wherever you want your image to go. That way you only add a little thumbnail image rather than a huge picture, and people can just click on it to see the bigger image if they want to.

Wheeee, thank you! I've made a copy of your instructions so I can give it a try when I have a picture to post!

I've just figured it out yesterday! In the bit with the main SETTINGS part, you can MANAGE PHOTOS. Click into that, and you can add photos (either drag and drop or upload from PC.) Then it gives you the source code to copy paste into the comment or post and while the pic doesn't show in the comment when you type it, it shows up when it's posted up. You have to do that before you comment, so it's ready in your photos album.
It took me the best part of 4 hours to work that out. sigh.
