Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The last of my cards for this long weekend I've been having are done. I haven't packed it all away, just left it all in a neat sort of pile.

Haven't gotten much writing done at all which is a bit of a bummer but the mojo isn't quite there so think I'll just let it go until it comes back.

Oooh, dragonflies! I'm an absolute sucker for dragonflies! *grins*

Well done for getting more cards done. So sorry your writing mojo is on the blink, I hope it will return soon.

I have whole sheets of dragonfly stickers! These ones actually came out quite good as 3d when they were mounted on clear acetate so the wings could be bent outwards. I'll need to find more paper designs that can match with dragonflies. :)

Tis a very slippery slope! Just tonight on my way to the train station I went past the windows of the two dollar shop and spotted some lovely sticker sheets. I suspect tomorrow I'll be back there to take a closer look, and then I have to stop myself going into the art supplies store a few shops down!

Yes. Yes, they are! I hadn't even given a thought to going into the art supplies store but now I don't think I can resist having a little browse!

They're fiendish that way, they catch you off your guard and start whispering, "What harm can a little look do?" Next thing you know you've bought half the shop...

I had to cull my stash. I ended up giving an absolutely huge carrier bag of stuff to the art department in grandson's school. I still have too much! I used to make a lot of cards but stopped because I thought everybody I knew had had enough. My daughter assured me I was mistaken and I really ought to start again!! I am a virtual companion on your window shopping and your visit to the art supplies store. At the moment, in lockdown UK, I do the same thing online.

My stash is huge and not getting used because I'm in a mess and have nowhere to work. Someday... In the meantime, I shall encourage others to go out to craft shops. I'm in the UK too, so I'm staying home.

I agree. After ten months of being locked down at home I think maybe it's a chance to just get out and do something normal. And who knows when next I might get the chance. Hopefully we don't get locked down again.
