Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Made really good progress with the greenhouse. Moved 6 or 7 boxes, found one more full of water and emptied that out, emptied 3 or 4 bags — hard to be sure since they were falling apart and I have no idea what came out of which. Also found my special little greenhouse watering can, so I've rescued that. Needs cleaning out inside but at least I've found it.

I think I've cleared most of the boxes that were in the greatest danger of getting drenched when it rains. There's one glass pane towards the far end of the greenhouse that's slipped a little, leaving a small gap, but hopefully that won't let too much rain in.

Yes, very tough work, especially being inside a greenhouse during a heatwave, and so much rubbish to clear out, but I'm getting there slowly. Two more days of hot, sunny weather before it turns to rain and thunderstorms...

Thanks! It's exhausting working in a greenhouse when it's 32C outside, felt like i was being cooked, but I only have two more days before the rain so I need to get as much done as I can.

A couple more days and I'll probably have to stop because there's supposed to be rain and thunderstorms. o_O

Well, you'll be ready for a break from it by then and then you can come back fresh. (also some inside time never goes astray!)

I'm ready for a break now, but I have to keep going. If everything gets wet, I might have to wait until it dries before I can continue. Dry crumbling plastic is hard enough to deal with. Wet... it doesn't bear thinking about!

I was hoping I might be able to get the glass fixed before winter, but I don't know. Still so much to do.

I've got no choice. With so many of the greenhouse glass panes broken, I need to clear as much as I can before it rains. I've only got one more day of guaranteed dry weather left. If the stuff in the greenhouse gets wet, it'll be ten times harder to clear up... 😰😬

A hell of a lot, but it has to be done. No rats or mice so far, but evidence of past mouse presence because I don't think spiders and slugs can chew up plastic.
