Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: Is your crafting stash taking over or is it all neatly organised?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Finished the second of a pair of arm warmers although they still need sewing up. Started another pair in some weird yarn I dug out. Parts of it are thicker than DK and parts are thinner, and it's made up of three strands, white, green, and navy blue, or it might be black. I'm about 34 rows in.

I began a paper building (St. Basil's Cathedral of Russia) but only got to step 3 [there are 18 total]. Lots of glue and holding things together and in place until the glue dries.

I have dozens of boxes spread across several rooms containing various crafting items, and shelves in the box room crammed with yarn. I really need to get on with using it all up.]
That sounds like a fascinating project, but holding it together while the glue dries has to be tedious. OIs there any way you could use bulldog clips or clothes pegs to hold pieces together while the glue sets?

I think that's common (lots of boxes, lots of yarn).
That's a good idea!

Hopefully it will help 😊

I finished my Christmas scarf (the day before yesterday) though! And yesterday I did the swatch for my next project, which has ended up being one of my planned hats, and blocked it and also finally blocked my old comfort mittens that I knitted while hosting WED. I had a lot of fun using my new blocking boards and pins, it made things a thousand times easier omg

Yay, well done for finishing the scarf, and I'm glad your blocking board and pins are working for you! Now you can finish your mittens.
