I have my threads in freezer bags in batches by number and packed into a box. Well, two boxes, one for DMC and the other for Anchor. Keeps them where I can find them, then I just take out the ones I need for a project and 'file' them away again after.
I have dozens of boxes spread across several rooms containing various crafting items, and shelves in the box room crammed with yarn. I really need to get on with using it all up.]
That sounds like a fascinating project, but holding it together while the glue dries has to be tedious. OIs there any way you could use bulldog clips or clothes pegs to hold pieces together while the glue sets?
