Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

All 25 meeces are stuffed and sewn up, but they don't look like meeces yet. Next I have 50 ears to install, and the hard part there is getting them positioned right. It's a lot easier with striped meeces than with the plain ones because the stripes provide something to line the ears up with. The hardest one to do is going to be the dark purple one. I'll have to do that one in daylight, when it's easier to see what I'm doing.

Such finicky tasks are always a challenge. But I don't think it will be the end of the world when a couple of meeces end up with mismatching ears. It might even add to their charm.

Good job stuffing and sewing them up!

Thanks! As long as I'm careful I should get most of the ears level, I'm just out of practice. I need to look at an existing mouse and see how I attached the ears.

You are doing really well with the meeces, but lining up ears do sound tricky. Good luck, I hope it goes well.

I decorated 8 large trays of biscuits with Mum's help today. They - and the ones that didn't need extra decoration - are all boxed up and stored on the (unheated) balcony. Phase One completed!

Working on the sewing up of the blanket this evening - I hope to finish before sleep beckons. Not sure if I'll go straight on to the border or perhaps start on something else. Although the blanket is intended as a Christmas gift, I won't see the recipient until a few days after Christmas, so I have a little more leeway in completion dates.

Well done! Hope the sewing up goes smoothly. It's always nice to not have too tight a deadline to finish a project. That way you don't have to feel rushed.

Rushing things is definitely not good. It takes the joy out of crafting.
