Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've successfully completed my last 11 pairs of mouse ears! Next step will be sewing up and stuffing all the mouse bodies, after which they'll get their ears fitted., then their tails twisted and installed, and finally their noses and eyes stitched.

When all that's done I'll start another batch.

Woo hoo! You’re racing through them. Have you started the sewing and stuffing today or is that a job for another day?

Hopefully the sewing and stuffing will start tomorrow. Crocheting 22 ears was quite enough for one day. They're small and fiddly, and several took more than one try because I didn't hook the whole yarn strand through the loop. I may need to change crochet hook again, I've already tried two.

I’ve done some more squares today and also started sewing them into pairs. I think I’ve figured out a way to assemble them but I’m not sure if it will work and need some extra colours for one strip.

I managed two rows today, which is GREAT because every time I sat down to knit, I kept being interrupted by mom, who needed my help with something.

It's now ten past three in the morning and I am unexpectedly awake. I thought about doing some knitting now but no, I think I am going to attempt going back to bed. Night!

Excellent progress in spite of the interruptions!

Hope you managed to get some sleep. I was crocheting mouse ears at 2.45 am because I had indigestion and couldn't sleep *sigh*

Almost finished the sleeves for the linen gowne and the buttons- two buttonholes and a couple of buttons. I did get pics on fb but I'll link to LJ when I put pics up there tomorrow. So close to finishing but had a really busy week, so almost but not quite.

I did more on the blue silk as well, so the sleeves are finally sewn on both sides. Hooray! Picture tomorrow there too if I get organised. Still trying to catch up with posts which show the steps for the pouch (again tomorrow) and stay on top of book things.

I've got an interview on a podcast out tomorrow, so there will be links to that too for anyone interested in me talking medieval sexy tings. lol.
