Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I haven't done any knitting today! Eeep! Well, I've been finishing the unravelling of the sweater from the beginning of the year, one sleeve and the front down to the ribbing. Guess that means I'm ready to start re-knitting to the new pattern. That's good, right?

Yes, and I'm pleased. I've been putting that task off for months, but it's dealt with now, and it didn't take very long.

Knitting another tree bauble, and cut out bunting flags for the Enting to decorate. Apparently I’ve skipped autumn and am gearing up for the winter festivities…

(I want to do some autumnal decorations as well, but figure we’re kind of past that point for this year, so on to the next season…)

Sounds like things are going well for the advance festive preparation. Funny how starting winter preparation in autumn doesn’t seem as wrong as starting autumn ones when it’s still summer!

Is this bauble the same as the first one or are you doing different designs? One great thing about knitted baubles is that they're totally safe and unbreakable. Good luck with the bunting!

Seasonal decorations really need to be started early or they're not ready in time. With a bit of luck you can plan ahead for next autumn.

I've been working on Christmas decorations/cards since early last month. If you plan to do much then it really does need starting early. Yes, any autumnal decorations - unless you do something quick with dried leaves will need to be shelved for another year.

No need to do things in the last minute. You are better off starting early for the next season.

More tapestry - would have achieved more if I hadn't got lost in the rabbit hole that is reading the news online. Seriously, I have no idea why I read half of the things I do - I wouldn't read them in a paper or listen to them on the TV *sigh*
