Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The sleepers for the shed base arrived around 12.20 this morning. Getting them level took a bit of doing, but I now have a partially constructed shed. Took us five hours to get as far as we did, but we got stuck with the roof because I'm neither tall enough nor strong enough to help much and it's definitely a two person job. My neighbour across the road was unfortunately out for today, and tomorrow my friend is at the dentist, so the shed building is currently stalled. Still, it's roomy and it looks good, I think it will be great once it's finished.

Despite all that, I still managed 12 rows on my sweater. I am determined to get it finished this month if I can.

Sorry to hear about the shed delay. How’s the yarn lasting? Can you tell whether there’s enough yet?

It was a bit ambitious to think we might be able to finish it in a day, but at the time I didn't know my neighbour would be out all day today, or that my friend had a dental appointment coming up, because he never tells me anything. Men! It will get done, it'll just take a bit longer. I can at least start painting the outside with wood preserver, make the most of some good weather.

There should be enough yarn to get a reasonable length on the body of the sweater, although probably 2 or 3 inches shorter than I would have preferred. I'll measure the front after I do the next pattern repeat, see how it's looking, then get the back to the same length. Got to decide where to divide for the neck, so I need to calculate the number of rows needed for the shaping, and check up on the shoulder shaping too, because I want to finish with row 12.

The shed really is coming together, even if you needed to stop. That gives to time to knit, right?

Well, I got some knitting in, but I hadn't done any of the other things I do every day, so I had to try to fit it all in with only limited time available.

There are some problems with the construction, the roof pieces won't go right so there are gaps. My friend has a habit of rushing things.

It really is. A bit more time spent on preparation might have helped.

More work on the tapestry- finished a couple of flowers and a section of leaf. I went over one of yesterday’s unpicked sections in the new colour - this was the most worrying section as there were several petals in the old colour and I’m still not 100% sure it’s worked. Technically several of the other flowers have petals in differing shades but they’re more of a contrast than here, then again, depending on the light the difference is barely noticeable but it is fairly central in the whole picture. I might have to get a second opinion, to see if other people can see the difference.

Well done for making progress, and hopefully the colour change is less noticeable than you think.

Hopefully the colours will look right. It might be that because you know they aren't it stands out to you.

Two rows on the Graduation blanket, before lunch even! (I woke up early for me.)

One large motif for the Peppermint blanket. I did most of it earlier, but finished the last few rounds just now.

Hmm, about 8 rounds on the turquoise hat?

Started a pumpkin pie amigurumi for the Pumpkin Spice Nerdopolis challenge. I love all things pumpkin so this challenge is right up my alley.

I've finally decided what to do with the Love Packs. Fresh Miniature asparagus bunches. I found some in the grocery today, and the bunches were both cheap and biggish, so each bunch can be split into two others. The first 6 packs can have some leek seeds as well. I didn't find more at a sensible price today, so I'm out of time to look for others. All I need to do is make a blog post tonight talking about the properties of each item so I can print it out at work tomorrow and put a copy in each pack so people know why they have a sexy, sexy onion and other strange things. Pack now includes: calico bag, onion (very sexy), asparagus (extremely lust inducing), nasturtium seeds (increasing desire and sperm), some packs will have leek seeds (arousing) and a pair of hand-dipped beeswax candles made the traditional medieval way. I need to be in bed in 2 hours, so the clock's ticking!

Wow, what curious properties! I've never thought of onions as sexy...

I'm sure people will find the gift bags great fun, especially with the properties of the items explained.
