Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another rainy day! The shed will now be delivered next Tuesday, so I've bought some heavy duty shelves to go in it, and a garden storage chest that I can use as a seat if I want to sit down for a few minutes.

I've done my third pattern repeat on the front, yay! I'm doing my knitting while watching Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two. It makes me get my knitting done early, which is no bad thing.

Thanks, I know, it intimidates me. It's a struggle every day, but there's a lot to get done so I'm doing my best.

Shelves and a storage chest - this shed is going to look impressive!

The storage chest is for outside, but I've ordered a storage bin on wheels for inside the shed. Oh, and a rainwater butt for when the garage roof is done, because guttering is included in the price *nods* No more rain pouring off the garage roof onto the ground. I never wanted to use water off an asbestos roof on the garden. Hopefully the shed will be ideal. It also has a double door, so no need to squeeze in and out with stuff.

Before we know it you’ll be putting the finishing touches to both the new shed and the sweater if you keep up this progress.

I've had two no-crafty days, partly because of chores and partly because I've been heavily occupied with background work for a story that might actually come together after having existed as a heap of disjointed scenes for the last 14 years or so. *fingers crossed*

I'm planning to make some more lolly stick snowflakes tomorrow.

Oh, I had! Made six more before cooking, and they are all shiny! Currently resting under several pounds of copying paper for the glue to dry properly. ;)

Today I went to Dare to Dabble and did silk painting, which was not a great success. However, I will post about it on my blog tomorrow and include photos.

So 10.30 and I’m just turning on the TV and picking up the tapestry to start. *sigh* I don’t suppose I’ll get much done but not to worry the rest will still be there tomorrow 😉
