Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another exhausting but successful day, with a lot accomplished. Still a lot to do, but we're getting there, even though this morning I had to work outside in drizzling rain.

I'm half asleep, but I've battled my way through another 12 rows. Hoping for an early night.

I finished the left front of Mini Hobbit's Christmas cardigan - the right front will be a mirror image.

Oh, so wonderful! The two unicorns on the fronts will be almost nose to nose!

Therefore I've finished the last three heart-patterned mini-mittens and selected the embellishments for the next batch. These will have small satin flowers as decoration. No, I haven't made the flowers myself. I've bought 1.5 cm wide satin ribbons that come in the form of interconnected flowers and cut them to pieces; then I sewed on the individual flowers. Brutal, I know, but quick and efficient. I like quick and efficient. If only other things would go so swimmingly!

Later on I have actually finished the first one of the new batch. So, the current count is: 11 finished, 4 half-done, 10 more to go.

I think it's very clever to use ribbon pieces.

Excellent idea with the ribbon. Anythuing that makes a task faster and less complicated is a good thing! You'll soon have all the mittens done!

I finally had a full Sunday for crafts \o/ I did all of the green there today. I was going to try for more, but my cat decided my lap was a better used for him than my cross stitch.

It's hard to argue with a cat about the best use of a lap!

That's great, real progress. Cats have their own opinions on what's important.

I continued work on the cross-stitch. I did more work on Eeyore (it's a lot of mauve!), and finished Winnie the Pooh's head and his t-shirt, so apart from his outlining, he's now done. Trying to decide what to do next and think I will probably start the earth of the bank around Winnie next.

Not too much done sewing-wise, but I was home from work today and finally put together a net curtain canopy type thing on my bed. Quite frankly, the one I made my cat for her sofa looks better, but I'll leave it there for a few days and see how I feel.
