Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today has been predictably exhausting, but the bulk of the two sheds have been torn down. There's still work to do (and the pouring rain a little while ago won't have helped matters), but it's another step forward.

I've managed 12 rows on my sleeve tonight, but that's it. The arm warmers will have to wait.

Not so much, I'm out of steam and struggling to just get my other everyday stuff done. Tomorrow I have to get out there again. *sigh*

Well done on keeping up your persistence. Is the end in sight for the heavy outside work? I know it's never finished when you have a garden, but sometimes it's not quite as strenuous as others.

Still filling the skip, and then a new shed needs to be bought and constructed, plus I havew a mountain of ivy on the lawn, waiting to be dealt with, so the really strenuous stuff looks like being another week minimum. I was out there already, hauling massive ivy branches after my friend sawed them down. I've also got to finish emptying the tiny little shed that got tacked on to the big one, everything has been crammed in there over the years. I just found a new pair of wellies in a bag, some solar garden lights, and a slightly mouse-chewed rug, which needless to say went straight in the skip. Just taking a bit of a break because I need it. Three hours of work at a time is enough.

I've made mini Gugelhupfs today, from yeast dough and with lots of candied fruits. I've also finished a couple of mini felt mittens for the charity fair. Three others are half-done, all I'll have to do tomorrow is to stitch their two halves together.

Current mitten count: 7 done, 3 half-done, 15 more to go.

The mittens are progressing really quickly!

That is because I had to wait for various workmen a lot lately, and stitching away helped to keep my nerves under some semblance of control. *g*

The secret of quick multiplication is the choosing of really simple patterns. ;)
And Gugelhupfs are very yummy indeed.

Sometimes it is the result of utter frustration consulting every other thing I'd like to do and cannot.

I watched a youtube video about tunisian crochet and then searched on Amazon for supplies. I didn't get anything useful done.

Ah, but the research is a necessary part of crafting, and can be a lot of fun.
