Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

Had to go out today so I'm worn out. It was very stressful, so many people unmasked, including one man behind me in a queue who stood way too close.

I've done another 12 row pattern repeat on my sweater, but I still need another two or probably three repeats. Also started a pair or arm warmers for a friend, so I've done 10 rows on the first one.

The sweater is still growing steadily. What colour are these arm warmers?

This pair is a light grey.

The sweater is going to take longer than the last two, despite the simpler pattern. More stitches per row.

Well done on your pattern repeat and starting the arm warmers. Totally with you on the stressfulness of going out where there are other people.

Most of the time I get to stay safe at home, but recently going out has been necessary *wibbles*

Sorry about the bad experience. I always get nervous when I have to go out, too. I can't understand why people are so irresponsible!

I needed to relax after I got back, so I wrote a bit and then did some crafting in the evening.

I just don't get people at all. There were marks on the floor for distancing, but he ignored them. I had to move a bit towards the person ahead of me just to put some distance between us.

I finished the back of the cardigan today. I'll post a picture when I've done the stitching on the unicorn - front hooves and an eye.

Yes it should work. I know I shall be busier for the next few months, and next week I've two things in my diary most days, so I wanted to get a good start.

Sat down to start but just couldn't do it - too much of a headache. It's been nagging for most of the week, but just was too much yesterday evening to have any hope of concentrating.
