Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another afternoon of gardening in the sunshine. It was tiring but very enjoyable. And for dessert, another 12 rows of knitting. Yay!

Thanks, I intend to. I should get one more day of fun in the sun. Wednesday I have other commitments, so I might not get much time outside. =(

Mostly I just feel tired. Very accomplished though, I've made good progress outside.

It is, which it needs to because I have the tree surgeon coming tomorrow to give me a quote on removing a massive conifer, and I need to make sure it's accessible...

I worked a bit on the second pair of the oven mitts - or should I say on the second pairs? I had to change the design because I realized they'd be too thick for Little Theo to even bend his fingers if I made them four-layered ones. So they'll have only two layers, each, but in exchange he'll have two pairs instead of one.

That should make the stitching a bit easier, as long as they're thick enough to protect from burning.

Well, he wouldn't be using it without his grandma supervising things; she'll make sure that he uses the thinner ones only for light work. There's always the second pair for baking tins and suchlike.

Hope things are going well with the revised design

They are definitely less painful, even if not necessarily much easier. I like to make my life complicated by adding more rows of stitches to make sure the things won't fall apart.

Worked on new design - I’m determined to finish Tigger as soon as possible as he has a ridiculous number of the quarter stitches to create his stripes. The rest of the design should have far less.

Disney kits are a menace for all the quarter and three-quarter stitches they have. I hope there will be less on the rest of the design.
