Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

5 more rows done on the back, and that's the first ball used up.

I've also done the first pattern repeat (12 rows) on the first sleeve. The sleeves will have three pattern panels but I've decided to do the sides in double moss stitch. Just makes the side increases less of a hassle.

Double moss stitch for the sides makes a lot of sense - increases are a real hassle otherwise.

That's what I thought. There are double moss stitch panels between the pattern panels, so it'll all tie in nicely.

I haven't checked in in forever, but I am making progress on a crochet blanket. I have two rows left to sew together with everything else, and then I just need to make it look all neat and pretty at the backside with alle the ends :D

Sounds like you're doing very well with your blanket. Finishing all the ends off is the part I like the least.

Yes, those annoyoing little ends can't be left, they'd spoil the finished item.

Cross stitched about half of the contrast colour for the cave wall and ceiling and a little bit of outlining. Not much stitching left to do, but lots of outlining and details like that.
