Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

My baby cross stitch kit arrived today! One of the girls was allowed to go into the office last week to sort a week's worth of mail and was kind enough to redirect my kit to my home address. I've already sorted the cottons and measured up to make my first stitches. She's due 13 Feb so I should have enough time to complete it, but still have to wait for the official name (it's a girl). Not likely were coming out of lockdown anytime soon so it'll give me something to do.

I know, right? And it only cost me $12 inc postage from Amazon but it's a proper Dimensions kit, 9" x 12", so good size and good quality. Really happy to snag such a bargain.

That's lovely. You should have time to get most of it done in advance, so you'll only need to add the essential details after the birth.

That's a gorgeous birth sampler, looks like it will be fun to stitch! It's good to have things to do when in lockdown.

Around here, so many restrictions have been lifted that going out today was a nightmare. Too many people maskless and not safe-distancing.
