Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

And the sleeves are successfully attached! I've also got a couple of safety pins in the sleeves do I'm ready to sew them up, but that's for tomorrow.

I've been knitting my Harry Potter hat and also the new square for my throw. This square is supposed to have beads, but since it's destined for the bed I've replaced the beads with bobbles.

Wise choice. Beads can cause problems, bobbles are a better option since you're not going to wear it.

I don't like bobbles on sweaters, especially the sleeves, because they always catch if I try to put a jacket on over the top. There's a sweater pattern I hope to knit at some point, but I plan on ignoring the bobbles. *grins*

That was my thought. One of the other squares also has bobbles and on a blanket they shouldn't cause any problem.

Worked on the cross-stitch. Nowhere near enough of the light orange for the flooring, so I was trying to modify to accommodate the shortage but still achieve the general effect - wasn't enough so I'm going to have to try and get something very close to continue - I've been through four other sets none have anything even close.

Also did some work on the book of magic.

I hate it when kits skimp on the thread. I hope you can find something that will work to complete the floor. So disappointing.

Well done for making progress despite the thread issues though.
