Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Managed to get 30 rows dome tonight on the front to complete the first pattern repeat. That way I'm less likely to get confused.

More cross-stitch done, worked on the bucket of water and the flooring of the design

Thing with cross-stitch is that it doesn’t always feel that way because sometimes it’s fiddly with just a couple of stitches and a few more there but sooner or later it all comes together and you have the result you’ve been aiming for *grin*

Exactly, it's random bits of colour and then suddenly the design starts to emerge. You're making me want to get back to stitching - I have several small pieces I was stitching for cards - but I need to use up more of the yarn I've got lying around.

I finished the sweater for my kiddo! She...wouldn't really sit still for a good photo, though.

Thank you! I was afraid she wouldn't like it but she was quite pleasant about trying it on for photos. It should still fit her when the weather turns colder.

That's a great sweater, and it looks fairly easy to get on and off a wriggly toddler.
