Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Today's Question: No question today.

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

That has to be a relief!

Hooray! I hope you get an early night, too.

Well done on finishing the increase rows and best wishes for a restful night's sleep.

Today, I got inspired and completed Pages 4 and 5.

As you can see, these are mirroring pages again, with a little photo frame in the middle that open with a small flap, each, to reveal the baby photo that will hopefully come behind.

And this is what they look with the flaps open:

These are the last pictures from the sheet containing the waterfall card pics from the previous pages. I'm quite pleased how they match the background patterns.

They're lovely!

Thank you! :)

I prefer giving self-made presents. They may not be perfect, but they are certainly unique. Fortunately, my friends can value the effort put into them.

Really nice. Thanks for sharing the photos.

You are welcome. :) It's always a delight to show off my stuff to fellow crafters who can appreciate it.

You have such lovely papers, they work really well together.

Being a hoarder does have its advantages, doesn't it? *g*
I've been fortunate that several different shops nearby (even supermarkets) keep a small selection of craft supplies. Of course, I have to keep my eyes open and sometimes buy things in the hope that I might use them eventually, but that's a small price, I think.

I now have a full unicorn chart as well. As BK suggested, I looked for horses and up came a unicorn!

It's a silhouette, so I shall need to split out the mane, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

Thank you.

Sounds like you have a plan of action. Good luck for the next steps.

Thank you.

Yay for unicorns!

No crochet tonight, but I did do a couple of hours work on the latest unfinished cross stitch while I watched some TV.

I can knit and watch TV, but not cross stitch - that's impressive!

It was more listening than full on watching - a couple of documentaries followed by a rewatch of a familiar favourite. :)

TV can be great for background noise. I used to paint Easter eggs in the living room (some 30+ years ago when my hands were more stable) with the telly running and only listening with half an ear.

This one is Disney’s Sorceror’s Apprentice. So the picture is of Mickey Mouse and two brooms with buckets coming down steps into the cave on white Aida 😉

Finally finished something that counts for the Ravellenics! AND it also counts for Nerdopolis. Here is a lacy crocheted kerchief. I love this pattern - this is the fourth time I've made it! It's fun to make and looks great.

What a lovely pattern.
