Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Winter, early spring, and late autumn are my most productive times.

I've started my second pair of arm warmers, 84 rows into the first one. I'm wearing the first pair and they're so comfy!

Hmm, I don't think I have a particularly more productive craft time. Frantic crocheting of holiday gift items shouldn't count, I could have started sooner. :D

Oh, and while I haven't been able to craft for a couple days, I did finish pulling down the last of my saved craft data from Ravelry today (for the new people, I'm having to leave that site due to accessibility issues).

So that's not hanging over me and taking up time I'd rather use elsewhere.

But crafting gifts in a last minute rush before the holiday season totally counts *grins* We all could have done stuff sooner, but somehow seldom do.

December always creeps up on me, no matter how hard I try to be organised, and this year's worse than usual.

I managed two rows of knitting on Sunday, and Boo and I also painted a birthday card for my mother (I painted Boo’s hands and feet and pressed them to the card).

I do tend to craft more around the holidays because homemade gifts are a big deal among my family and friends.

Homemade gifts are the best, but you have to be able to find the time to make them.
