Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

After yesterday's marathon, I figured I'd just knit to the end of the ball of yarn, which I thought might possibly stretch to 30 rows, if I was very lucky.

46 rows later...

I am seriously bad at judging how much yarn I have!

The back is now approximately 19 inches. I might pause here and make a sleeve to see how much yarn that takes before I decide how long to make this sweater.

My hands really know it tonight! The wool just went on and on and on, which in one respect is good, I shouldn't have to skimp on length. I was worried I might not have enough for a sweater and now I'm pretty sure I will, but I thought I was going to be knitting all night =/

I almost gave up at 44 rows, but by that stage there seemed no point in stopping even though my hands were hurting. Two more rows wouldn't have made much difference.

It is very good, but gettung to the end of the ball was exhausting and took me all evening, lol! No time for anything else.

Haven't sewn anything today, but I did wash a big wool rug and that took ages, so at least I've achieved something.

Yay for clean rugs. It reminds me of a quote from an old TV show in the US:

But then I remembered what Mother Nessman said to do when frustrated. And so I beat my rugs. Every night this week, I've beaten my rugs. They're very clean.

Beating rugs may be good for frustration but it's hard on the arms.

I've finished the page bases for the baby book. Now the real fun can begin.

It is a relief, yes. Now to dig out my notebook in which I've painstakingly written down the making of various embellishments, so that I can choose which one to use for the book.
