You have done a great job this week, thanks so much! It's been a big help with me heatless and having to adjust to new tech.

I'm still struggling with the new version of windows and with MS Office. They're designed to torture!

So do I. I've ben told to burn kiln dried logs, not coal at all, but all my heating is run off the fire, the logs are barely warming the radiators, and I have to throw another one on every half an hour. I'm almost out, and there's no way to keep the fire going overnight when it's coldest. Only managed to keep it burning for 6 hours yesterday, which did very little to warm anything.

Avoid 10 however you can, it's dire. I can't find anything.

I have a lot of makes I love or am proud of. I've been reminded of them a lot as I worked through backing up my project data on Ravelry. I posted on Twitter about a couple of colorful doilies earlier this week if you don't mind clicking.

Also, I posted in yesterday's a bit ago because I didn't realize what day it is. HA! Getting back to working on my headband shortly, I just ate lunch.

Nah, the way I am today I'm surprised I didn't post to last week. :P

Twitter links are weird sometimes. I just was too lazy to re-upload elsewhere.

They're lovely!

They're so pretty, they make me think of peacock tails!

Hope the headband is going well.

Have some origami lanterns, made in preparation for a Brownie zoom meeting:

The result of lots of practice in order to give instructions over zoom!

Haha I bet. Hope they had fun.

They did. Although some had to rope in their mums to help.

I finished Frankenbeanies 99 and 100 today. Made both out of leftovers from the scrapbag, and the long multi-legged design for Doctor Tad Winslow is something I'd not done before.

Such fun! I like the Pterodactyl headed one best.

Ha, love those.

I was rather pleased how these came out (the only knitting pics I have posted online), Made them many years ago from the same basic pattern but I experimented with different stitches. They're very cosy.

I've finished knitting my arm warmers except for casting off. They're both 120 rows so should cover my forearm and come down over my hand. I need the cosiness badly. I did have some heat for a while today but it didn't last.

Glad you have that basically done since no heat. Erg.

Those vests are great!
Monday, November 30th, 2020 12:07 pm (UTC)
Tell me about it! And it's only going to get colder for the next week, highs of 4 or 5 C in daytime.

Thanks, I was really happy with them. Still am!

Those vests look beautiful.

Thank you! They're all Aran wool but I didn't have enough of any colour for a sweater so I made these instead.
