Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Same old thing from me, 32 rows of raglan shaping on the back of the sweater.

Nevertheless, I'm happy, because my new vacuum cleaner that I ordered this morning is here! Yay!

Great about the new vacuum cleaner. it's the little things like that which make like nice. And as always.. hooray on the knitting!

I am most pleased, I was about to buy one last year right before lockdown and I've spent over a year dithering about getting around to it because it was yet another big expense that I didn't need, but I decided I'd just have to bite the bullet and get one, even if it meant having to pay for delivery.

Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. And having a working vacuum cleaner can make your life so much easier.

I think I have the best one for me now. Definitely worth the cost.

I bought a new vacuume cleaner this year too, which I'd been bithering about. I wanted a goot cat hair one but also a quiet one so it doesn't upset her much. I thought no way I could get both, but in the end I did, and for a price which was lower than most normal ones. I hope your new one brings you as much happiness.

The right vacuum cleaner is such an asset. I think my new one will suit me a lot better than the old one.

Commenting for the first time because I dislocated a finger at work last week (it's not too sore and seems to be healing well but it's taped up and I can't do much). Instead of spending my weekend knitting, I have to live vicariously through other people's projects and gaze longingly upon my stash!

Oh no! How annoying, not to mention painful! I hope your poor finger heals quickly and comnpletely so you can get back to your knitting.

What were you working on before your unfortunate accident?

I hope your finger heals quickly. Fingers are the worst as you need them for absolutely everything.

Poor you! Hopefully, the finger will recover quickly and completely. It's such a hindrance in just about everything.

Kinda sorta did another chapter in Code This Game! I opted not to make all the changes to the program that they suggested. I did make one change, and it's sorta working but not quite right. Will debug tomorrow.

Also, two rows on the blanket.

I am well pleased with this progress for the day because we were out of the house most of the afternoon/evening (it's 9:13 and we just walked in 10 minutes ago) so I didn't have much time today to work on stuff.

Life does sometimes get in the way of crafting, unfortunately, but it sounds like you made good progress anyway. Good luck with the debugging!

Yay for the coding! That's great! And two more blankie rows! Slowly but surely!

Not really much crafting this weekend. A little more of the inside seam of the linen kirtle and a little elderberry tart sharing. I spend time in the garden today and was very busy not doing things I should have by getting sidetracked upgrading my website so I can migrate one of my other websites to integrate into my main one.

There's more to life than crafting, and other things always needing to be done. Sounds like you had a busy weekend and managed to get things done even if they weren't the things you feel you shaould have been doing.

I'm busy procrastinating when I should be writing... I do this every day.

I got over my procrastinating, as I always do, and got some writing done. Haven't missed a day in more than 7 years, but procrastinating seems to be part of my writing process, lol!

I do it every day. It's not that I don't want to write, but procrastinating first has become a habit,,,

I'm one day behind things as I spend the earlier hours online as everyone else. ;)
Anyway, I've finished colouring the little cardboard stars and have started working on the popsicles themselves with acrylic paint and a flat brush. I much prefer working with acrylic pens, but they won't give the same nice, even colour on wood, so things are getting a bit messy over here. *g*

Painting anything makes a mess. I don't envy you but hopefully the finished results will be worth the effort.

There is nothing quite like painting with brushes. It's messier but great. I'm sure the better colour will be worth it!
