Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

34 rows of raglan shaping! I kept going until the ball of yarn ran out. Tomorrow I have to see if I can finish both sleeves. Then it's back to working on the back. Back to back. Hah!

I've got to the shaping at the crown of my granddaughter's hat. I did the first row, then realised I'd misread the pattern and had to undo it all - making sure I didn't lose any of the knit 3 tog stitches - and redo it.

Eep! I know that feeling only too well. Glad you managed not to lose any stitches.

Yes, it just meant taking it slowly. It took longer to undo than knit!

That's usually the case, it was the same with my unpicking, took at least three times longer to undo a row.

Just a quick update before getting back to my WIP due tomorrow night (only 20k, yikes!)

Wow, they're lovely! I especially like the red and black ones, I love that colour combination, and the pretty peach one. Your ribbon bows are so cute!

Good luck with finishing your monster fic! I really don't know how you do it, turning out something so long in such a short time!

I don't know either! It just grew a life of its own, but it's been days and days of work. Getting there with only a little bit near the end to go now and to tidy up the beginning. The rest I'm pretty happy with given the tight turnaround and a few other things vying for my attention right now.
I'm glad you like the red and black cards. This was my new paperstock so still lots to experiment with. I've got one other paperpad I haven't touched yet, waiting for inspiration from other papers to run out first before distracting myself with something else new and shiny. Best birthday gifts in a long while.

Yes, some fics do sneak up on you like that, but even so... You are awesome! Mine seldom go past 2k. You can do it!

Yes, with the lovely Ausstralian birds and plants. I truly think craft supplies are some of the best gifts anyone can receive. It's always such fun to play with them =D
