Check-In Post June 20th 2021
Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Just got to finish sewing up the red one. I'm halfway down the second sleeve seam at present.

Heeee! Finished, but not made. I used to knit a lot faster when I had fewer distractions (before I got connected to the internet). I ned to get faster again before I have several projects I want to knit.

The red one was harder to photograph. Red does not show clearly, most of the photos I took were just a blur.
Two more cookbook pages
The recipe in the foreground will go into the pocket on the left.

My aunt's retired teachers club takes part in the Festival of Trees every year, and their theme this year is something that needs filler. I've tried a couple variations on one I've made before, poked at another I didn't like, and I'm going to try a third. I'd rather make something new as there are a billion snowflake patterns.

I know I mentioned I started the backup plan for the graduation present, but I forget if I said I changed it from a coffee cup cozy to fingerless mitts. I worked on those today too, and am up to the the thumb gusset.
I finished my first woven square on my Zoom Loom! I'm on the second. Here's a pic! I'm using these squares as a submission to my crafting competition: we were challenged to make something red, so hey! This fits!
I would love to do more work on something but my wrist says NO, so I'm going to play video games instead, or maybe spend more time on Ravelry.

Yes, you did mention you've switched to fingerless mitts. Always very useful to have. Good luck with getting them finished in time, and with your crocheted square!
