Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I have attached both sleeves and got everything pinned to sew up the sleeve seams!

As I'm sure any of you who have made an adult sized sweater, even a small one like mine, know, this entailed wrestling a lapful of sweater parts, trying not to stitch the wrong bits together or stitch it to myself. It's a bit like wrangling an octopus, or so I would imagine, but I was successful!

Great progress - yes, so many parts all vaguely attached to other parts and all threatening to join up to other wrong parts.

It's a jumble, but experience makes it easier to know which bits belong where.

Hopefully a couple more days and I'll have the pink sweater finished, then I'll finish sewing up the red one, and then... Not sure yet. I still have to finish a white summer top, and I have two black sweaters part done, but I want to start on the fuchsia yarn...

I tried my hand at some original plushes this week and while it's probably that whole thing where amateurs don't know enough to know what they've done wrong, ngl, I am pretty proud of my lumpy blobby little dudes right now.

As long as you like them, it doesn't matter if they're not perfect. Besides, we all see problems with our own work that no-one else would notice. ;)

Oops. I haven’t been checking in.

Things I’ve done recently:
Daily gardening
Gathered elderflower and made several bottles of cordial
A bit of embroidery, but not much

You've obviously been too busy for checking in, all that gardening as well as life stuff!

Oooh, elderflower cordial! Haven't had that in years. A neighbour made some once. It was lovely.

A bit of embroidery is better than none.

It's still a long way to go, since I'll have to feature the individual recipe cards as well, but we're getting there. :)
