Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
Today's Question: No question today.
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

On the plus side, I'm back to 100 rows again and i can get back to making progress. I hope.

Today I finished the second square of my throw:

Now I can see why the pattern for this square caused you so many problems. It's very pretty but quite complex. Well done for finishing it!

There's certainly plenty of fun in selecting the colours and patterns to use.

Then I ran to Michaels for supplies. Bought red & gray wool to use with the zoom loom when it arrives, and super bulky green yarn for a Nerdopolis project (that's my crafting competition).
This afternoon I knit a hat:
It was an "eh, why not?" project. My planned project takes a little over a skein, leaving me plenty left over for a hat. I decided to do the hat first because it's more of a problem to run out of yarn on hats since most are knit bottom up.
Then I started the actual planned project: a leaf scarf:
It's a really fun knit! So I have decided to resort to BRIBERY: I can knit another leaf only after I've done two rows on the blanket. There, that should help keep me motivated!
I did start another row of the blanket tonight but I'm falling asleep so I'm going to head to bed now.
