Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I got outside this morning before breakfast because the garden waste bin hadn't been emptied yes, so I cut more hedge until my fingers were too sore to continue. 5 minutes I came indoors, it started raining, so I timed that well.


This afternoon I sewed up and stuffed 14 bees. At present they're just striped knitted blobs, and they will stay that way while I sew up and stuff some more. When I have enough at that stage, I'll add the wings and the eyes.

Timing is everything - and so is being methodical. I still have four mini-Teddies to sew together. *sigh*

You'll get them done, there's no rush. I'd like to finish the bees while the weather is chilly.

Culinary crafting today: I made jam. Again. Trying out interesting new jam recipes has become a hobby lately. Today it was apricots with rosemary; it tastes great.

I keep my WiPs in plastic trash bags >.>

when I actually went places, this was to protect them from rain because I live somewhere very rainy and can't drive, now it's a mix of habit and "I know things won't get jumbled or lost if every project has its own bag"

'long as I don't push it, I think they'll be usable again soon! seems I stopped in time, fortunately

it's just very annoying to be in that in-between zone lol
