Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I have knitted three primrose yellow bees! Then I went out in the garden for an hour since the weather is lovely today. Not sure if I'll get the fourth bee knitted tonight or not... I can only manage three in 45 minutes, which was the length of the episode I was watching on DVD.

I still can't imagine being able to knot while watching a DVD. But again, I need to put on the subtitles to understand spoken English...

I wasn't watching the screen the entire time. Bees are fiddly, short rows, switching colours every 2 rows, but I manage well enough. Still on my B5 rewatch, or back on it, so I'm quite familiar with episodes, just trying to get some inspiration for more drabbles.

I've finished mini scarf #7 and started #8. I've stitched the features of two more little felt teddies. I half-finished the last pot holder when I realized I had sewn up the sides to a wrong height, so I had to undo the whole thing, which was really frustrating.

It was a fairly eclectic day, including doing the weekly laundry and all that.

To answer the weekly question, sort of. I used to have to do things very seasonally just the way things were ran when I used to do more crafting competitions and events. And with Lynne it used to be expected to change with the seasons, to the point of nearly being mandatory.

Now, it's a lot looser. Crafting workshops I got to tend to be a bit seasonal in content. And there are things that get done for specific holidays. But Lynne is now perfectly happy for things to be spring/butterflies/flowers all the time. And with my personal stuff, if there is a way to make it Halloween, I will. I don't care what month it is.
