Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting today. I knew I needed to go into town, so I wasn't expecting to have time. The day did NOT go terribly well.


There was a diversion on my route so I have to drive around all the potholed side streets. The I got into town and the cash machine wasn't working. I'm supposed to be able to draw money out at the post office. but there was a massive queue so I gave up on that ideas. Went to get some yarn I wanted, and the shop didn't have any, so I gave up on everything else and just went to the supermarket to get the bulky essentials that are best transported by car.


At least I got a really nice pair of brand new boots at 70% off. That's about the only good thing about the day. Even the rhubarb and ginger hot cross buns I got are a disappointment. Can't taste any rhubarb or ginger, they're just like ordinary hot cross buns except they're pink. =(

Thanks. A lot of other little things managed to go wrong as well, but at least I survived and kept smiling.

After two days of crazy baking I'm now almost done - and accordingly dead. *g*

Since I've washed most of the doilies (just a couple to do) I started spreading a few around the house.

I did a little work outside. Filling low spots in the yard with some leftover dirt. Also decided to start some bell pepper seeds. I will bring in the tray on cold nights.
