Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Writing most of the afternoon again, working on my WiP, but that's at least progressing well. It's over 12.5k now.


This evening I added another 28 rows to the second arm warmer, which is at 56 rows now.

I added over 1k today, and I know I have to rework at least the last section I wrote because it's not right yet, it's on the right track. I'm pleased with the way it's heading, although it's a very traumatic scene for my characters.

The bees have NOT ended, I still have a lot to put wings on, and all of them will need eyes, but my friend needs arm warmers, so I'm whipping him up a quick (sort of) pair.

Thanks! Didn't write ALL of that today, just 1020 words on the WiP, and three ficathon fills. Still well over 2k though.

I've finished the politically incorrect, garish elephant. Mum actually liked it, but Mum basically likes all the little things I make out of paper or felt, so that doesn't really say anything. By the time I was done it was already too dark to take a decent photo, so I'll be doing that tomorrow.

Well done! Mums can always be counted on to approve whatever we make. I know mine used to.

I have finished the curio cabinet project and started looking at the inherited doilies they need washed and starched.

Muffin & Ed moved to the senior dog sanctuary on Monday. That was hard, to hand them off! They are doing well, I checked in.

I will probably have another foster dog on Friday.

Been keeping up with the knitting 2 rows a day on the cable blanket. The anxiety demons are a bit strong tonight so I don't know if that means more knitting tonight or trying to read. We'll see.
