Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

3 more small bee bodies knitted, and 1 large bee body. Also 6 pairs of wings crocheted for the small bees.


I had planned on making another dozen bee brooches after this set, but I think I'm going to leave the small ones for a while once these 6 are finished and concentrate on the larger ones. I have 100 knitted, just waiting to be sewn up and stuffed, and I still need to make another 80 pairs of wings for them. Hoping to crochet 5 pairs a night from now on until they're all done.

Yeah, it's probably better to get the half-finished ones out of your hair before you make even more of those. ;)

I want to have some ready for when the shop reopens on the 20th so I need to get a move on. In fact, I might not finish this batch of small bees yet. I'll decide tomorrow.

I was originally asked for a possible 100, so I figured I'd see how fast I could manage that. =)

There are 16 in each of several different yellow or orange yarns, plus 4 in a darker orange. Half are striped with black and half with dark brown.

I've got two craft-less days behind me, due to chores, unpleasant visitors and neck and shoulder pain. But I have high hopes for tomorrow.

Finished the first dog blanket and started the second. Since the dogs are little I'm getting both done out of this extra large skein.

Everything going well with them. Ed is sometimes realizing I'm talking to him, which is a big step. He's elderly, how has no one talked to this dog?
