Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Knitted 3 more small bee bodies, so I have 6 to sew up tomorrow, and crocheted 6 pairs of wings.

which shop is this?

It's a shop in my local town that sells work by local artists and craftspeople. It also supports people with autism and learning difficulties, giving them a chance to learn and integrate into work situations. They sold some of my mice a couple of years ago, and last year Shelly asked if I could make some bee brooches. They're still selling well because there's a bee awareness thing running in town, so now she's also asked for some larger bees to make into keyrings. I'm madly knitting to supply demand.

I thought I'd do a great deal of crafting today. Well... I didn't. I managed to do a tiny bit, about ten percent of what I should have, and then I gave up. As mentioned before: zero motivation. Which is unfortunate, as these poor quiet books have been in the making for a year by now, and I originally hoped they'd be done by Easter, but things don't look very promising in that area.

If the motivation isn't there, you can't force it. Better luck tomorrow. At least you did a bit.

It was cleaning day with a side of unexpected relative visits. So during movie time, I tried to poke at as money things as I could.

I knitted a few rows on the Wash cloth, sewed up the last coffee cozy that was supposed to be a Christmas present, got my knitting patterns moved into their new notebook, knitted a few rows on the garter slip stitch scarf, and knitted one row on the cable blanket.
