Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
This Week's Question: What are your crafting goals for 2026?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Thank you! Still got to sew up all the bigger ones and make their wings though.

I made a batch of mint chocolate fudge, sugar cookies decorated with green sugar, Santa's Kitchen Sink cookies, and a batch of plain fudge. All of which have been packaged and delivered.
The date stamp I ordered finally arrived and I have having a blast using it to help set up my art journal for next year.
Also, anything I find while cleaning that had been set aside for my junk journal is actually getting put in my junk journal. It's mostly been fruit stickers.
I got my sister's coffee cozy sewn up and delivered. I think she's using it as an armband.
For Christmas, I got myself some mini art kits; watercolor cards, scratch art ornaments, and diamond art ornaments. I've been having fun doing one of each everyday.
My dad gave me a miniature toolbox for Christmas and it's slowly becoming the home for my tiny craft tools.
I've met with Lynne twice, last Monday and today. Last week, we made two sets of cards, one gingerbread themed and one more wintery Christmas. Today, we did mermaid themed cards. All the extra company for the holidays has made her a little extra vinegary, but things went okay. Though I wish someone would see that things like no one knowing what appointment she had today as a wake up call. (It was fun. She had a random appointment written on her calendar just a name and a time. Lynne's daughter, Lynne, and myself all found out what it was for when the person showed up at the door.)
A friend of mine has also been probing me with art questions regarding pictures of her own work via text all day too. Which is entertaining and makes me have to think of coherent ways to explain things.

Yay for junk journal progress.
Wear it as an armband and then it's there when you need it for a coffee cup. Makes sense to me!
The art kits sound like great fun.
Well done with the cardmaking with Lynne. Sounds like you've managed to keep her on track and busy.
Hope you're managing to be coherent for your friend!

:D
Yes, and she burns herself at work quite often. It's quite the multitasking cozy. Though had she told me she'd planned on using it to also protect her arm, I might have made it a bit wider.
They have been. I'd felt a little silly buying them for myself, but I've been having fun.
Thanks. Hopefully the upcoming unicorn cards will go as well.
She seems to be understanding what I'm saying, so, so far, so good.

As long as you're enjoying them, that's the main thing.
Unicorn cards have GOT to be fun!
That's good.
