Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I haven't made my 2026 goals yet either. I post them on January 1 each year. But I should probably put some time in ahead of then to tinker with things.

Finished the 6 bee brooches and crocheted three sets of wings in preparation for the next half-dozen.


Also knitted 6 more large bees.

I have a lot of bee making to do, so I need to crack on. Especially since threesentenceficathon will hopefully be back sometime in January and I want to take part again this year.

Yesterday's creative activity was visiting a walk-through holiday lights display, which was awesome.

I finished my last present at 1am this morning. Which sounds terrible, but I actually had slept a few hours before finishing it, so I did get enough sleep last night. I'll have pictures when I do my monthly crafting round-up at month end.

I made some phone/tablet pillows for my sisters and their husbands, and those were well received. The kidlets thanked me graciously for their gifts, which really, is all I can ask for.

I pulled out the Central Park Hoodie while I was waiting for family to arrive, but only knit a row. Still, at least I touched it! I'm probably going to spend the next few days making a Window Cat for the Nerdopolis Cats vs. Dogs theme. I submitted the mini sweater ornaments to other Nerdopolis challenges, so I have three entries so far, which is better than I've done in a while.
