Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Three more bees are knitted, the first two using a yellow yarn that I've decided doesn't work well, so I won't be using that again for bees.


I also knitted four more bees last night, because the last episode of a show I was watching was stuck on TV at 11.20 last night instead of its usual time of 9pm, so I had to stay up late. =(

Sorry for the late night, and that the yellow yarn didn't work! Way to go on making more bees!

It wasn't too bad, I was just trying to have some earlier nights and the TV schedule mucked that up.

I can use that yellow for something else. I have lots of bees waiting to be sewn up now though.

Husband gave me a bunch of old shirts and jeans. Was cutting up the t-shirts for husband to use as shop rags, and One observed me doing this and asked what I was going to do with the cut-up clothes, and I explained the shirts could be used for all kinds of things (but this time it was rags) and also the jeans, and One renewed her desire to learn how to sew, so I dug out my sewing machine (which last saw the light of day during the pandemic when I made homemade masks) and I made her a quick and messy little denim purse out of the old jeans.

Two saw this and immediately asked for one of her own. We'll see how that goes. There are more jeans than I need purses, but maybe a few more will make good gifts...

I'm *almost* done with the yoke but I have to put my jumper on hold; I'm leaving for a vacation and a circular needle + so many balls of yarn are too bulky to take with me. So instead I've started on yet another scarf~
(However I'm packing the previous jumper I knitted last Spring to parade around ♥)

Yes, you don't want too much to lug around. Great progress on your jumper, and I hope you get lots of compliments on the one you're taking to wear!
