Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Didn't get more photos taken today, but hopefully I can try again tomorrow.


I did knit 4 more bee bodies, which leaves me 11 to sew up and 1 completed. So, the first dozen bees are underway. Had trouble with the last one because with a few rows left to do, my left thumb decided to act up. Those last few rows HURT. Stretching and massaging the thumb joint has helped a bit, but I hope it settles down quickly. So much still to do.

Thanks. Arthritis is a beast, and that thumb is the worst joint anywhere. It's also one i really need when I'm knitting, so it's a nuisance. =/

Today I managed a few rows on the sweater scarf, and I also finished the final turtle fin and made the tail. All that’s left is the head, then stuffing and sewing.

Culinary crafting on my end of the connection. I am up to 19 different sorts of biscuits.

Today I feel like I ran every errand, with mixed results. On the plus side, from a crafting perspective, I have everything I need to do my baking and fudge making, except caramels and I was able to find a much needed white paint marker.

With said white paint marker, I was able to finish decorating my foam gingerbread men and finish decorating the mantle/fireplace area.

I also did a bunch of cleaning, which included getting all the yarn not currently in use put away.

After dinner, I wove in another 10 ends on the striped scarf and knitted more rows on the garter slip stitch scarf. (I'm not keeping track because it goes until its big enough or I run out of orange yarn.) I also tried the stretching breaks again. I'm figuring on giving it a month before if I decide if it's something I want to keep doing.

Good work on your errands, decorating, and crafting! You're progressing well with both scarfs. Hopefully the striped one will soon be wearable.
