Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

A few more tentative steps towards card making. Dug out some die cut Christmas trees and other such items I might need, and took a look at my glue. Not positive it's still good but it is still liquid, so I can try it and see.

Today was mostly a cleaning and chore day, but I was able to get started on knitting a coffee cozy for my sister. (She wants one with a cable across the middle so it's going to take a little bit longer than the 1x1 rib ones I've been doing.) And I was able to find the recipe for the cookies I need to bake and deliver tomorrow.

I wore my new workcoat yesterday and decided it needs another buttonhole at the top--something I haven't tried before but am willing to try. However, I forgot it a school so it'll have to wait until next week. Guess I can train on random bits of cloth during the weekend before I actually cut a hole in a garment I need and risk mucking it up?

That's a good idea. You want to make sure you can create a buttonhole before you try it something that matters. Are you going to do it by hand or use a sewing machine? I know my mum used to be able to make buttonholes on her machine, I can't do that kind of thing. sister_rosalie does buttonholes by hand though.
