Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Success! 6 bees are completed and in my bag for the next time I'm in town! I have also crocheted 6 pairs of wings to start the next 6 bees.

Yesterday we visited two craft events. :D Among our finds was a table runner with winter cardinals.

Yeah, we picked up a folding workbench that also serves as a larger altar table. So I've been collecting toppers with seasonal motifs. We've got autumn and winter covered now. :D

It's fun going to these events and seeing what-all crafts other folks are doing. The winter holiday ones are starting -- there's a bunch in later November and December that I hope to catch.

That's awesome. Now you just need something for spring and summer.

I've heard about a fair that I should be able to get to at least once (I hope) next month. It's on for three Fridays, so fingers crossed that at least one of those the weather will be tolerable.

I will try to remember. It's only a small local thing, I don't even know how big the hall it's held in is because I've never been there. It's three Fridays in December though... And my friend told me there are CAKES!

I have to admit that the food is a big attraction for me. I love food trucks. I love fudge and baked goods. There are a couple of area vendors who make excellent macarons, and one with alfajores. And maple soda! :D We don't often see cakes though.

Well, this is England where cakes are the thing ;)

This year's summer fair had cake stalls. Not a lot else, but plenty of cakes.

I have seen some very interesting British cakes in cooking shows, although not all things I'd want to eat.

There are a lot I wouldn't want either, but I got some truly decadent chocolate brownies at the summer fair.

Today was kinda crap. In-between receiving and making phone calls regarding updates about Lynne (she continues to do well in hospital), we got a call that one of my aunts had died. While we were notifying other family members, on top of all the other horrible family updates we got in the process, we got another call saying my aunt isn't actually dead, but she is in hospital and she is not going to make it. Then we had to renotify everyone, also while not know which information was actually valid.

I also did some knitting at some point.
