Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

No crafting — that was a foregone conclusion because of Strictly — but I've had a day. So many things were simply NOT cooperating, my posting this evening took longer than it should have because of all the mistakes I was making. But dealing with the cold fire ash was the worst. The bag split, so there was ash all over the ground outside. Got another bag to put the split bag in, the handle broke, and the bag got caught on something and tore... I nearly had to get a third bag. Then I had to sweep up all the ash... GAH!

Also, my arm hurts from my flu shot, but I don't think it's so much from the vaccine itself as the person who gave it to me. He stabbed me so deep that it bled and left a round bruise the size of the hypodermic. Had he ever given a flu shot before? I won't be going there again. When my usual pharmacist does it, I don't even feel the needle going in. This time it felt like he was trying to push it right out the other side of my arm. And I had to pay the earth for the privilege. 😣😠

Oh love, what an awful day! I can't understand why some people choose medical professions when they clearly can't give a sh*t about the comfort of their patients. *hugs*

He was a nice enough man, just inept. I'm used to Ruby's tender touch. I'm fine, just annoyed. If I'd got my flu jab before I caught that stupid cough and cold, I probably could have had Ruby at my regular branch of the pharmacy. Or if I'd been wearing my watch the last time I was in town, I might have known I had time to go to the big pharmacy where I've been before when mine ran out of the vaccine. Just one of those things. I'm no wimp, but sometimes you have to grumble. I didn't so much as flinch when he stuck the needle in, but he couldn't have got it in any further if he'd tried. I'll probably laugh about it later.
